Day 1:GUWAHATI

After on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative .then transfer to hotel ,Check in at hotel. Evening visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country & DJ Cruise on the mighty river Brahamaputra (subject to availability/direct payment basis) Overnight at Guwahati

Day 2: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG

After breakfast check out from hotel then transfer to Shillong. Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong after 3 hours journey (approximately), we check-in at a city Hotel. After freshen up visit Cathedral of Marry, Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake located at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden walks and boating, Meghalaya State Museum where Meghalaya’s tribal culture and heritage are well displayed,& the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong

Day 3 : SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJEE-SHILLONG

Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1 ½ hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sisier falls,Mawsmai Caves,Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park .Later back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong

Day 4 : SHILLONG – BHALUKPONG (Nameri National Park)

After on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative and drive to Bhalukpong (250kms/6 hrs drive approx). Bhalukpong is the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is a place of enthralling scenic beauty. The sparkling river Jia Bharali which passes through Bhalukpong is an adventure lover’s paradise. By the side of the river is the Nameri National Park which falls under Project Tiger. Overnight will be atTourist Lodge at Nameri(bhalukpong)

Day 5 :BHALUKPONG – DIRANG

After breakfast drive to Dirang (200km 7hrs). En-route visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Overnight stay in Hotel in Dirang

 

 

Day 6 : DIRANG – TAWANG

At morning visit the Kiwi & Apple Gardens. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colorful tribes, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake. Reaching Tawang (143 km, 7hrs) check in at Hotel Overnight at Tawang.

 

Day 7 : TAWANG

After breakfast explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during 17th Century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Evening free for leisure or shopping in the local market. Overnight at Hotel

 

 

Day 8 : TAWANG – BOMDILA

Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive (185km, 7hrs) to Bomdila. Overnight at Hotel at Bomdila

 

 

Day 9 : BOMDILA – TEZPUR

After breakfast drive to Tezpur. Tezpur is a land of natural beauty, ancient monuments and rich cultural heritage.Tezpur is an important tourist destination with beautiful parks, temples and ancient monuments. Reached Tezpur .Check in at hotel.Evening visit Da-parbatia temple & local market (if time permit). Overnight at Tezpur

 

Day 10 : TEZPUR AIRPORT DROP

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and proceed to Tezpur airport for the onward journey
